The Birthday Boy

 

The B'day boy wants his B'day (let's name him Rohan) to be celebrated. But he just does not say anyone that he does.

He wants more and more people to attend his talk, but he tells every one not to attend his talk because, it's no good friend if someone do not attend the talk for a slight relief.

The one whom you tell not to come to the talk, and still comes is one true friend, and you shall work hard to keep them around you. They may not fall into your shortlist of friends you want to have, but they will help you in difficult times.

A scene of 

Rohan does not even actually care about the B'day celebration. He just longs for some friends that prioritise him such that they will celebrate his B'day no matter what.

Maybe you can get such a relationship only after you invest and nourish such a relationship, do not judge people for a lot of their actions, be accustomed to being in an uncomfortable even than in a comfortable hell.

And maybe you have to be in a constant friend circle (that is naturally given to you, maybe :) for a long time, which might be boring but still rewarding in some sense.

I want to earn so much money that I shall be okay spending any lot being in any group.

In one scene, he is coming outside the room, wishing his roommate and friends might have brought a cake for celebration even if Rohan told him not to (Rohan is happy in that imaginary scene). Then he reached the front door of his room and saw it locked. He got a bit sad, but again imagined that his friends might have told someone to lock the door from outside to make the surprise more better (to celebrate the B'day when it was least expected the video shows the imagination of Rohan about he acting really surprised, and his friends cheering him Happy B'day to you, Happy B'day to you, Happy B'day to you Rohan; Happy B'Day to you.... :) and he gets out of the imagination and sees the empty room in front of him (a dim light is glowing inside the room, he goes inside, keeps the clothes on the chairs on the hand of the chair and sits on the chair, opens the mobile and just checks if anyone has wish him b'day all there in whatsapp was some group chats and chats where Rohan hasn't got any reply from.)

Rohan opens his laptop and starts writing his Report due on that day. A friend of him comes to the door and asks him his report which he says he has not completed yet. (When the the friend comes he sees him like the friend is going to say him Happy Birthday.

Through the story I want the viewer to relate to Rohan's lonliness, his openness. The story should make the viewer's heart ache a bit and the experience of reading the story must touch the inner insecurity the reader or viewer has.
